University Foundation Fund

The University Foundation Fund (UFF) was established in May 1993, concurrent with the ceremony that marked the laying of the foundation stone of the Shaw Campus of Hong Kong Baptist University. The Fund was set up to enhance the development of the University and to make the vision of whole person education a reality.

Since its establishment, the UFF has grown steadily and become an important source of financial support for the University, as it maintains valuable, existing programmes and develops new projects. To date, The UFF is comprised of 41 individual donors and 22 institutional donors.

As a token of gratitude, and to permanently record for posterity their support, the University has mounted a plaque engraved with the names of the UFF donors as well as other benefactors in the lobby of Shaw Tower on the Shaw Campus.

Consistently throughout its history, during the different stages of its needs, the University has received generous support from patrons in the community who prize quality education. Special gratitude is accorded to those benefactors who have magnanimously offered their long-standing support from the Institutionˇ¦s formative years. The support from the UFF, other individuals and organisations affirms the goals and directions the University has set and continues to implement. With the new millennium well upon us, the University shall dedicate every effort to continuing its tradition of excellence in teaching, research and its contributions to society.
