和富慈善基金李吳劍鳴學生中心命名儀式

In recognition of the generous donation of HK $ 3 million made by the Wofoo Foundation Ltd. to HKBU, the Student Common Room on the 4/F of Sir Run Run Shaw Building, Ho Sin Hang Campus, was renamedWofoo Foundation Amelia Lee Student Centre” and a naming ceremony, officiated by Mrs. Amelia Lee, Patron of the Wofoo Foundation Ltd.; Mr. Joseph Lee, BBS, JP, Chairman of the Wofoo Foundation Ltd.; and Professor Ng Ching-Fai, President and Vice-Chancellor, was held on 31 January .

HK $ 2 million of the donation is designated for the “Wofoo Civic Leadership Programme” and the “Directed Career Search Programme” launched by the Office of Student Affairs; while the other HK  $ 1 million is designated for the teaching and research development of the School of Chinese Medicine.

 

  為鳴謝和富慈善基金慷慨捐贈香港浸會大學港幣三佰萬元,本校乃以位於善衡校園邵逸夫大樓四樓的學生活動中心命名為「和富慈善基金李吳劍鳴學生中心」。有關之命名儀式已於一月三十一日舉行,由和富慈善基金贊助人李吳劍鳴女士、和富慈善基金主席李宗德太平紳士,以及吳清輝校長親臨主禮。

  是次所獲之捐款其中二佰萬元用以資助本校學生事務處推行「和富使命導航計劃」及「事業導航計劃」,其餘一佰萬元則用於中醫藥學院的教研工作
