Recognition Ceremony for the Donation by Mr. John Chan

The University
has received a donation of HK$200,000 from Mr. John C. T. Chan, Chairman of Chaifa Holdings Limited designated for the establishment of ¡§Mr. John Chan
Business Studies Scholarship¡¨. This is a fresh impetus to our continuous
efforts in student development towards whole person education.
In appreciation
of Mr. John Chan¡¦s generous support, Professor Ng Ching-Fai, President and
Vice-Chancellor presented a souvenir to him at a meeting held on 4 January 2008.
